your blood can’t be accepted.

The two biggest issues that impact ‘non-acceptable blood donors’ are:
your Age and Previous (or current) Histories of Certain Diseases.
There may be other circumstances as well.

Your medical professional at the blood donation site
will review your personal circumstances.

But even if you can’t donate blood (or even if you can)

financial donations – as well as a list of folks who donated
(unless you wish to remain anonymous).

Please note: Sorry your gift is not tax deductible. It typically takes a year or more before tax-exempt status (501c3) can be approved (USA). But the amounts are generally so small – it may not be worth the paperwork to file for a deduction.
